What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is the science of movement: Kiné = movement / logos = study, science.
A comprehensive holistic method for better living, kinesiology aims to improve physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Based on principles from traditional Chinese medicine and chiropractic, it helps release energetic blockages and restore balance by stimulating specific points on the body. Kinesiology, drawing on both ancient therapeutic practices and recent discoveries, particularly from neuroscience, is suitable for people of all ages.
It can help manage issues such as anxiety, chronic pain, or learning difficulties by promoting better management of emotions and bodily energy.
The precise muscle test allows us to detect what strengthens or weakens us. In kinesiology, this test helps identify disruptions and blockages so they can be eliminated.
Through muscle testing, we can find the underlying cause of a symptom and release stress and the associated emotional burden, as stress and suffering often compound the symptom.
Kinesiology considers three aspects:
- Emotional Aspect: Emotions permeate all of our physical and psychological behaviors in response to the environment.
- Structural Aspect: Bones, muscles, and fascia shape the person’s appearance and determine their posture and movement.
- Biochemical Aspect: This includes respiration, digestion/elimination functions, and endocrinology.
